AJ’s Scorecard for the First 100 Days

Every mainstream media outlet and podunck online paper is covering the President’s first 100 days today. Well, here’s my take on the situation.

The Torture Issue IS a Big Deal

Stitch got really, I MEAN REALLY, worked up about the BOHO administrations issues with torture in part 1 of podcast number 88. As he should. BOHO has been an idiot in the way he’s gone about this entire torture issue.

The worst part about his follies is that he has unknowingly undermined all of our intelligence sharing relationships by disclosed these classified documents. All of the hard work that Bush and his folks put forth to build critical information sharing relationship, POOF! Gone just like that by a stupid decision.

We better get used to the phrase “Nope, nothing new to pass to you guys.” We’re going to hear it more often than not from our allies. I’m sure you tell your friend with the big mouth all of your important secrets, right?

What scares me even more is why BOHO did this. He was catering to the other members in the Democratic party who want to lynch Bush in public. He didn’t have the courage or political capital to tell them no. BOHO’s only power base is to stay ‘popular.’ Yes, he is like a kite and is completely subject to which way the wind blows. So, if you don’t like the way our government is going, blow harder and change the direction of the wind and the kite will follow.

What, Podcast Interupter?

Wait, that’s me!

Stitch does not have a sense of humor when you repeatedly (and intentionally) interupt his well planned big pieces during the podcast. I used to watch Pinky do it in the studio and Stitch could barely contain himself.

Well, I was fealing froggy during my last guest spot and decided to tweak Stitch’s ‘button.’ I’m sorry.

Last Word on Pirate Story

Via Stitch:

Most have seen the ‘Unauthorized” account, leaked by a Navy SEAL and subsequently posted for all the world to see.

Then we saw the exculpatory ‘corrected’ version skillfully crafted by the Obama propaganda machine.

Here is the final word, posted by Buddy Wellborn, CDR, USN (Ret.), USNA Class of 1959, also well connected with the players, who (at last) gives us the name of Bainbridge’s skipper.

Final score: SEALs 2, Obama 0

Podcast Interrupter

Here are a few shots of the tornado who’s sirens so rudely interrupted our show 36 minutes into side 1.

And the news story:

Fortunately there were no serious injures and limited damage. Nothing like the Parkersburg, Iowa tornado last year about this time.
